The staff were extremely nice. Me and my friend came here for breakfast and the crepes and latte which were both absolutely amazing! We decided to come back here for lunch and ordered they're cheese pizza that just melts in your mouth. Then before leaving we decided to try they're gelato and it was also amazing! I would come back to Montreal just to eat here!!!

Worst Italian food I have ever had. I do not believe that the “meatballs” were made of meat. Our server was having dinner with her family at the table beside us and failed to check on us throughout our entire meal. About half of the other tables had not been cleared so the view was not great. There was a bird chirping loudly the entire time and there was a child standing on the counter where the food is prepared. Would not recommend.

Extremely slow service, waited an hour for 2 eggs, toast, fruit, potatoes and coffee. Had to ask for condiments and water refills. Small portions especially considering the price, and food was nothing special. Wouldn't recommend

Food was good but they got our order wrong, and when spying by card, added an 18% gratuity without asking, then took and tapped my card on the machine so I couldn't even see what they were putting through..

This place is trash I tell you. Their service is terrible and I was lied to. I was told I’d get fresh juice but for some reason I was given bottled juice for 3 dollars. Instead of apologizing for lying to me the girl that served me the drink was very rude and impolite. She kept yelling at me and even refused the refund she said I could get. In total she stole 10 dollars from me for 3 canned cranberry juice.

Food was really good, they offer a wide variety of choices and have all day breakfast. I had their mussels which were really good. The service was great as well.

Turned up about 21:15 on a Thursday and was immediately greeted. Ordered the carbonara which arrived in no time and was absolutely delicious. Having a tiny belly I wasn't able to finish the entire meal, which was served with two small rolls straight from the oven, when I asked for the bill the young lady serving kindly offered to wrap the food to carry home. Great service, nice place.

This place is AMAZING! Great little mom and pop shop! If your looking to be wined and dined then this wouldn't be the place for you. The family is so friendly and the food is great! I cant believe I missed this place walking by on my trip so many times but glad I found it! Food = amazing Staff= even better Ill be going back tomorrow!

The service was not good, our server was having a Mediterranean dinner with her family during our meal. The family had a small child who was playing around the resturant throughout the dinner and standing on the counter where the food is made. The pasta was very poor quality and the sauce seemed to come from a cheap can. We were very displeased for the price we paid. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great desserts, coffee is good. Nice atmosphere, and service is friendly.

Slow, bad service and food is really not great

Food was good. But the treatment and service was very below standard. The staff was very indifferent. We have to ask for plates. The whole restaurant was empty and still the staff failed to attend us. Food was overpriced. I mean $20 for a small portion of Pasta. Very surprising. Ambience was good. May be I was unlucky to have such experience.

Slow service, bad service, food is not great. Didn't even tell me that they didn't have something I ordered... so I was waiting until I had to ask them. My boyfriend was given different item than the one he ordered in extra...

Pleasantly surprised!Went in for late lunch after running an errand in the area. The waitress was so friendly and charming. She talked up the day’s special and I took it. She offered the wifi password and even a charger for my phone after she noticed my low battery. The soup and salad were very yummy, and the main dish, the fish, was so delicious. Well worth the $20.

The food was good and the staff was friendly and polite, but their service was slow. The place looks nice, but the dishes aren't clean. There was a pretty obvious lipstick mark on my glass of water which was disgusting. The waitress said that they cannot check each and every glass whether they are cleaned properly or not. But this is not acceptable. You must make sure the dishes are clean. I ordered lasagna and the dish looked pretty dirty. The waitress said that it was just baked sauce. If it actually were baked sauce (looked like baked sauce from a previous cooking), I would wipe it off before serving because it certainly did not look appetizing. They also use pretty old plates, probably 50 years old. It's hard to say whether they are clean or not, it totally ruined my appetite.

Very very small portion, staff doesn't seem to know what they have in the menu...when they give us our food, they didn't give us folk and knives. On the menu, they have written Fruit Mountain, but you end up with 2 slices of tasteless watermelon. Forget about water or coffee refill, or even to get sugar on your table, the staff doesn't really care. Very disappointed by the food and the service, not mentioning the price. Place to absolutely avoid.

The marinara sauce they used on the calzone was like sauce from a Manwich. Good service though.

OMG! Best place ever! I ordered the spaghetti with olive oil and garlic and it was amazing!! Not the best item if you dig spicy food, but the qauntity was huge! We ordered a plate of crepe with fruits and custard for the table and left not a morsel of it on the plate. Their breakfast options are really good as well! But a good selection for vegetarian people as all the meat is additional!

I've been there several times for lunch, very good lunch menu and nice beer selection. The staff is very friendly and give you a nice personal feeling. I highly recommend it. Prices are very adequate. Try some of the homemade pizzas.

AMAZING FOOD! This is by far the best Italian food we’ve had in Canada. Family owned place and service is so personal! Made us feel like we were family. We are in Montreal for two days and we’ll be back here again for dinner on the second night. No reason to go anywhere else. Huge menu, huge portions, affordable prices. Can’t go wrong!

This was my first meal in Montreal and I was satisfied but not overly impressed with the food. I had the breakfast poutine and wish I tried a different dish. My friends had meals that looked great, but mine was not. I gave 4 stars for the great service only.

Came here with colleagues, I had the spaghetti calzone, and yes, that is a meal, a hell of a meal, you'll stay full until next morning if you have it at lunch :) that being said, the restaurant wasn't full during lunch, a Friday, which was a surprise, they're the only Italian restaurant around. Colleagues had pizzas and pasta, everybody liked their meals. The only negative thing was the beer, it was flat, and at 9$ a pint, a real bummer. Hence four stars instead of 5.

Had lunch here with my wife and daughter when visiting our daughter at McGill. Wanted a simple cafe, with okay food. Cucina exceeded our expectations, especially with the very friendly service. We were eating at 1:00 pm. So the restaurant was not full. Not gourmet Italian, but great spot above any chains.

Was not impressed with this place. We went in for a quick breakfast there was 3 tables in total & it took them close to 40 min 2 make 2 western sandwiches. The westerns were not worth the money.

Yummy breakfast!

It is my fourth visit to this place, and I’ve got to say this place just feels like home. Their pastas are great, and are in very big portion. They offer beautifully cooked breakfast served with orange and watermelon(the watermelon with scent of the orange taste amazingly!) They offered wings before, it was also very good. Their garlic bread and Italian sausage are all very good sides, don’t miss those.The service was excellent too. The waitress always connects the WiFi for people playing with their phones. And they served the meal fast.I definitely recommend this place to all.

Pretty bad food and subpar service. The food was bland and dry when it shouldn't have been, way overpriced for the quantity and quality. Waiter served food and never came back, had to go up to them twice to ask for syrup and then to refill our water. We were the only customers in the restaurant.

Coffee was good and relax atmosphere. Closes at 11p.m. compared to all the other coffee shops in the area that close at 10. So that's also a plus.

Crepes and desserts here are amazing. A must try!

We had horrible experience at this place. The waitress spilled water on my child, never apologized or cleaned up the table. When I asked her to bring some napkins to wipe the water, she said “it’s just water”... so my husband ended up sitting in a paddle. At least 5 tables around us where not cleaned, even though the place was not busy. Overall, I would not recommend it to anyone!

Amazing staff and food. Natalie kept us happy all night long. The food was delicious, affordable and the portion sizes were plenty ! If you’re looking for good food and service check this place out !
